Breaking Royal Marriages

I cannot seem to break any royal marriages. The button is highlighted when I send a diplomat, and if I hold my mouse over it informs me that I will lose stability and give (in this case Venice) a temporary casus belli. However, if I click it, the menu just flickers temporariliy, and nothing is done. I'm Austria in this game, in case it matters.
Can anyone give me any help on this? Thanks.

Royal Marriages

I have experienced the same problem when attempting to break royal ties. I'm currently playing Austria as well, but I played Russia and believe the problem exists with all nations. Does anyone have a solution?

Same Problem

I've had the same problem. I simply cannot break royal marriages.

Please Paradox Resolve this (and quite a few other) problems.
