Anyone know what countries they want to be? I'd like to be Japan, if that's okay.
Also, my connection doesn't like Valkyrienet, so if someone would host an IP that we could connect to that would be peachy.

I think if you are not hosting and the game speed is 'below normal' you do not need broadband.

I was hosting a 5 player game with 128kBit upstream. That means every player had a 128 kBit/4 = 32 kBit = 4 kByte downstream. Even ISDN can do that, and there was no lag.

As long as there's no lag.

Seems as though most MP games hate me... they either crash all the time (when the normal game did not), or they have horrible connection or lag problems (who others do not).

Just trying to take precautions.

i love the game, but they REALLY need to improve the mp code..among other things..but that is needed badly..because mp is kick ass..but i have yet to finish a game..and 4 out of my 6 games were laggy as all hell..im all up for a broadband good system game, if that is bad..i shall be angry..

It does.

While I know from EU experience I can't use Valkyrienet, not even being able to do through IP direct connection is new...

I'll try it when I get back to Fort Collins tomorrow... should work...

Okay, I'm going to try and get a game started tomorrow evening. Please be somewhere in the vacinity around 8pm EST so we might hopefully get a game started. I'm going to be on a different internet connection, so I don't think the problems I've been having will remain.
