As any sensible ironborn I have my troops in raiding mode whenever I'm in a war so as to have double benefit of looting and winning fights and I've stumbled on this.
Short description as follows:
Was happily raiding away in stormlands and lo and behold my ally ironborn king of riverlands decides to declare war on stormlands. I change part of raiding troops to non raiding so as to occupy holdings after I have looted them empty/raped their females/enslaved etc fun ironborn have. Now that the war ended the holdings I had occupied stay occupied?!?
As added bonus of the war I had stormlander princess in my hands so I promptly divorced my waifu and married the princes, knocked her up and then declared war on stormlands in her name against her underage brother. And even after this war ended the holdings of my wife are occupied by me.
Oh and then there is the 30+ year winter with occasional lies sent about the end of winter coming from citadel. And I mean it really is bad when only part in the world not under harsh winter is summer isles. Not seen the wraiths tho. Game was started in the bleeding years so maybe they can't trigger or something.

The holdings went back to stromland control when I joined war to help my wife fend off reach incursion to stormlands.
