Bug in The Sentinels Archaeological Site

In the phase called: They we're here first, there is a bug where the phase roll stops and refuses to continue. The save I am on is Ironman. I can't fix it within the gane itself I believe. I have tried to change scientists, abort the excavation and move the science ship in and out of the system. Update: I believe the issue occurred during the missing archaeologist event, because I was able to pick the option I didn't have the energy credits for.

I ran into the same issue. I too was able to pick the first option. I had enough energy credits but not enough influence and now it's stuck on ten days/turns until completion and shows I'm missing influence. I waited until I had the 100 influence again, and enough energy credits, chose to abort excavation and then try excavating again but it still won't progress, even though I now have the correct amount of resources.

Was lacking Influence. Had less that 10 Influence but enough credits.

I'm now stuck on 26 days. I've tried everything from switching out personal to moving away and aborting. Even after I got the Influence the thing doesn't update or nothing.

I'm really disappointed that Paradox never fixed this issue in what appears to be 3 years. And I'm getting a stupid warning saying that this thread doesn't need addressing. I'm sorry Paradox but it really does. You just took one of my damn scientist away and now I have no damn way of getting them back because of a poor design flaw in the system!!!

If I knew how to ping someone to actually help here. I would cause clearly the staff don't read this stuff otherwise I wouldn't be writing this on a issue that is 3 damn years old!!!

Disappointed this is a issue after being reported 3 yrs and no one on staff has done a damn thing about it!
