From the EU2 beta patches - thread:
"12th of April 2005

…
- Added in about 30 leaders for HEL (Switzerland)
- … "
I recently upgraded from 1.08 to 1.08beta (21stApr2005). Then I fired up a grand campaign with HEL to see if the new army random leader names are used. They aren’t, even though they are newly listed in EU2/DB/random leaders–file (at the end). Maybe something went wrong when I installed the patch? Could someone check if the names are correctly loaded? (but Karlstadt, Gotha, Wuppertal, Schweinfurth, Siegen, Hagen etc. are the old names; bug?)
Addition: I fumbled about a little in the EU2/DB file just following my intuition and found another random leader-file in EU2/DB/Leaders with no HEL-random-leader names. I then inserted HEL and a name into this file. I also changed “leader language” from HEI to HEL in EU2/DB/countries and started another grand campaign as HEL. The new name appeared. Now I am a bit confused...
