Bug on drones and rock / surviving mars

I'm playing on PS4 and i'm having a bug.
The drones dont go on the nearest storage for the steril rock.
Does anyone have the same bug ?
Or may be i'm missing something ... But before the last update we could place the storage anywere. Know just some of them work and the drones have to make a long way to put the rock ...

I noticed this as well. It seems like they are prioritizing the nearest waste rock site to the drone controller rather than the pick up site. Would need to confirm this, but that was the only thing I could fathom as to why they were going so far out of the way. Will try to check this theory tomorrow if I get time.

I’ve had the same problem(Xbox one). New to the game, only have 1 drone hub. I had 2 extractors on opposite sides of hub range and built waste depot in front of each building. My drones would only fill one depot (first one built) which meant a lot of travel time from the other extractor, waste depot directly in front of it is totally ignored! It seems like only one depot in a hub range is recognized until it is full then the other is used. If you put several waste depots in the same area only 1 is used until full as well, unlike all the other depots that spead out the resources!
