Bug Report - Embargo and stuff

I've played the mod 0.9.2 for a few hours now. I'm playing without Westeros Only sub-mod, which i never do usually but without any DLC it seems much faster, meaning some bugs may already be known but i'm just discovering them now.
Anyway, I have just one or two things/bugs to report, hoping I can help you guys :

- Much more CTDs than before (probably the worst version for me), every five or six years. But i've seen somewhere on this forum or citadel's forum that this version should be much more stable so it might be just me. Hard to say what's causig them however, sorry :/

- Playing a vassal of Iron Throne, I am (well, my king/queen is) always at war because of embargo wars offered by republics (by always, I mean its continuously, like a cycle). Could it be nerfed ? If your are the king, then you can be very rich easily at least ^^

- Robert's Rebellion: is it normal that a 8-years-old Lady of the vale can press a weak claim over Aerys II? I managed to kick her out but I had to surrender against Iron Isles for independance and just afterwards against Mace Tyrell who had a weak claim for Iron Throne against Rhaegar (to sum up, I was playing Rhaegar, my father had to fight against Robert's Rebellion, then Nord independance, then Vale Claim and Iron Isles independance simultaneously and then Mace's Claim (allied with Lannisters) while I murdered my father at mid point of Nord independance war (well, that, it's my fault^^)). My real question is: Are those Weak claims where they should be? I couldn't win as nobody was joining me except for Dorne...

Anyway, I will probably revert back due to CTDs to 0.9.1 and give up that game, which was frustating but funny.
But good job to you guys, your mod is still awesome !

Do you have a clean install?

I've played the game multiple times and I've yet to experience a CTD outside of the two mentioned bugged counties at the most eastern tips of Westeros.

I've used the zip folder because of previous troubles with windows install exe. I can try the install, that's a valid point though

I'll admit one thing thought; no intention here to insult the devs in any sort of way, but this does seem as one of the slightly less stable builds of the mod, when compared to the previous few.

I won the Iron Throne as Stannis during the ACoK start date and then defeated The North, which resulted with Robb getting into my prison, the prestige losses, however The North remaining independent:

No more ctds, seven years of game, sounds okay. And there's something done for embargos apparently as the 26th myr-ironthrone embargo ended without reason recently ^^ Which is good.

Yes, indeed, but there seems to be a lot of bugs. The mega-wars were buggy before, so it's to be expected, but I never noticed they were buggy to this extent. Several times I restarted and won the war as either of the Baratheon brothers, and The North always remained independent. Additionally, King Renly for some reason cannot appoint a septon (despite the High Septon being right there, ready for councilor appointment) and a number of similar issues.

I really do dislike the "I am a king!" negative opinion modifier in vassalization requests (when, in fact, nope, you aren't...only Balon Greyjoy is).

Yeah, i had a similar problem when creating king-tier title while temporary independant, several times.

This version is still buggy anyway, just encountered some today, more or less relevant :
- Dany having no dragons in AFFC bookmark
- Two dothraki women having a child together (Vanilla ?)
- Me and my allies fighting each other while enemy fleeing the county (Might be vanilla as well ?

Agree with that point !

The best thing we can do right now is to make a collection of all bugs for the latest version and list it up, so that we can determine which they are.

There is something that might not be a bug at all but merely an oversight, and one I think was common for pretty much all prior versions - when a new Lord Paramount is made, it remains a vassal to the Iron Throne. It does not become independent during the outbreak of mega-wars. This should probably not happen, right?

I hope the next version of the mod will include only bugfixes, i.e. that it'll concentrate on that. They are nearing 1.0, so I reckon they should maintain the level of stability before an eventual "ideal" release some day in the future.

These wars are happening with battles and the like? They aren't ending after a day or so inconclusively?

Hmm, I'm guessing it is the event where the iron bank funds a vassal against their liege? Was Aerys in debt? If so a minimum age probably needs to be added.

I think that was for version 0.9.1 actually, i mixed up, sorry about that....

That's actually possible for Mace Tyrell, I might have seen something about iron bank supporting him but I was annoyed for the Vale child as I don't recall any pop up saying she was followed by iron bank. Even if, I am not sure it would make much sense to support a woman on the throne this way, and a child as well as canonly speaking, no women sat on the iron throne I think. But we might see that as a greedy and ambitious regent acting in her name !


EDIT : To avoid DP, Aegon's Essos Conquest is very buggy as well, impossible to play more than one year without CTDs (I don't have any DLC but shouldn't be the problem !)
