1. While playing the latest version of the mod I have started getting notifications that my Chancellor has fabricated claims on a neighbouring province, this despite me not ordering him/her to fabricate claims (Its a retarded mechaninc, please purge it from the mod with fire) Im assuming this is a bug as it seems to still be happening when I send my chancellor on "improve relations" missions.

2. Raiders are massively agressive. Even in a fully united Westeros with all the LP´s in place the ironborn and Stepstones pirates raid the coast constantly leading to the AI constantly having their levies raised, and worse when e_iron_throne is held by an AI as the king will raise his LP´s levies resulting in 40k stacks running arounds chasing 2-3k stack of ironborn or Pirates. This is incredibly infuriating and needs to be fixed urgently.

I haven't seen that first issue but omg the raiders are ridiculous in this version for sure, I'd never seen them this aggressive in all the time it's been since the Old Gods compatible version came out

One of the major problems with raiders in my opinion is the Ironborn. If I remember correctly, in previous versions, when the Iron Islands were under the control of the Iron Throne, their raiding capabilities were gone and they could only raid when independent during a mega-war occasion. Now that they can raid whenever, I had a 14k Ironborn stack land in Sunspear not five minutes of starting my game. Compared to them, the 500 to 2000 armies the Stepstones can assemble to raid is easy to take care of since most of them are light infantry. When a 10k or 14k stack of mainly heavy infantry lands in your territories, you may as well be at war with them but without the ability to counter-attack because they are vassals of King's Landing.

Is there an easy way to fix this, like just editing a line of code. or is it a deeper issue?

That would work, but it also disalbes ALL raiding. Ironborn especially should be able to raid while independent and while "mega war" independent.

Well, in-universe the Ironborn were allowed to go reaving and raiding when they were vassals of the Iron Throne. They just had to go raid elsewhere. Them sending so many troops does sound rather excessive, though.

I have no problem with them being able to raid, just not raiding with those numbers. There's a fine line between raiding and a full scale invasion, which I think 14k passes that line very clearly. Perhaps if it can be done, the Ironborn can only raid with troops they get through the "build zeal" job their drowned men do? In my opinion, it's a balance thing because the raid mechanics were meant for Scandinavian tribesmen in vanilla, and they could individually raise a few hundred to raid at a time. If in vanilla, the Norsemen could raid with those numbers as the Ironborn, changes would be brought about very quickly.

I have no problem with Ironborn raiding others, but for example: I play Aegon the Conqueror and the thing he is famous for. If the ironborn then as my vassals, run (sail) around and raid me and my other vassals I should be well within my rights to turn the Iron Isles into a pair of molten rocks. This was not a problem pre 1.0 and a fix should be incredibly easy. We just need to know what was on the post-it note that one of the developers managed to misplace.

The rules of raiding and how the AI handles them is hardcoded, the only thing we can really change is frequency of raiding. This is all due to Paradox changing raiding in 2.4, the only solution would be to turn off raiding all together.

Like Knuckey, I never saw the Ironborn raid their liege's land while under the Iron Throne. However, I have had to arrest several Ironborn nobles after a mega-war ended because during their temporary independence, they do raid lands that are de jure Iron Throne who are fighting with you/against you. The hostile raid time is transferred to you (Iron Throne) when peace is made, so it ends up with you getting a free chance to arrest them because they acted against you (ie. raiding your lands).

That's what I have seen most of the time.
