Playing as a child female queen, I received an event that she was captured by poachers. Clicking OK to clear the event instantly fires the succession screen which says the character died a natural death in her sleep. Screens below. I don't know where this is coming from exactly. I've run the game back from the last save a few times and it always happens after a few months, which makes it seem like it's coming from a plot or previous event. But, turning plot omniscience on doesn't reveal any plots against the character and charinfo doesn't show any flags that might have been set. The character in the event screen next to OK, is the mother. She's unplayable so I cannot tell if she's receiving anything or not.

I think these are the bandit events, which make more sense from the perspective of the parent. Will fix this. Thanks for the report!

Looking at the files, it does look like it was the bandit event. If so, there is definitely something wrong with the event chain. It looks like it should only happen for boys and obviously my character was a girl. Also, there should have been a delay of a few days for the chain to work out, but it was instant death. It's possible there was some kind of conflict and something else was supposed to fire for my character, but the bandit event message is displayed.
