Ok there seems to be something very wrong in my game. In the Feast of Crows scenario playing with Baelish I chose to marry Sansa matrilinearily(I like to switch chars later in game to keep things interesting and wanted to preserve a Stark Dynasty for later on). Every child born I got died of poor health though. At first I thought it was a coincidence. However after the third child died again shortly after birth because of a health issue I got "sick" of it and started reloading. Didn't matter. The children keep dying no matter how often I reload a game. What's even more weird I can't betroth them(except with courtiers) as somehow they are flagged infertile even though they don't have any visible health modifiers. Save attached. Shouldn't take long to experience the issue. For me it happens usually within three months in game when loading this save(saving after a while and reloading can prolong the inevitable a little but ultimatly the children die no matter what).

Any advise or guess?

Do you happen to hold Harrenhal if so congratulations your whole family will be afflicted with terrible luck until you repair the province! This happened with me also when I was playing as Edmure Tully and I happened to get Harrenhal, had 10 children all died of poor health. Get rid of the province asap and when its been repaired by someone else just revoke the title if you can!

AAAAAAAAAAHHH! Ok THAT's something one should know. Thx:D

@AT
I agree completly.

Dynasties die out too quickly in this mod in general. In my experience most dynasties cease to exist after two generations at most(if not the freys). I happen to experience a lot of stillborns in many playthroughs(moontea?). Plus there's fertility issues because of the "in command" modifier. The AI constantly raises levies even if there's no real war but simply because there's a raid somewhere or a small peasant rebellion far away. The marriage system is faulty as well which adds to the problem. The AI does very rarely marry off female heirs matrilinear seeking "better alliances" instead(which ultimatly means worse alliances because week Dynasties results in petty squabbling of small landlords not the big game of the powerful Dynasties of old). On the other hand in another game I was able to marry a male Tyrrel heir to the Reach matrilinear when I was just a Duke. So there's definitly something messed up with the marriage system.

Merry christmas everyone btw.

Edit: hm I gifted Harrenhal away but both children still die. Does the bad luck stick to the characters when born while owning Harrenhal? If so it's game over for me. Sansa's getting to old for children.

The way Harrenhal's curse works is the closer you are to it, the more likely you are to have trouble, so perhaps as it's direct liege your still effected? I know that if your relative holds it there can be trouble.

Yeah well, doesn't look like the way marriages are handled by the game is directly moddable:( Seems the increased children mortality just exaggerates a problem inherent to the vanilla marriage system.

The one and only modifier that seems to affect how the AI decides about marriage I found was how much it values prestige.

Gifted it to some random old guy with no dynasty and unlikely to father children in hopes to simply inherit it again. So I still guess it's tied somehow to the children characters.
