Well this is the event that usually makes austria inherit burgundy.

My first question is: will this event only fire if austria and france exist, and if Burgundy is not at war?

My second question is: yesterday on a multiplayer game burgundy got inherited even when it was at war... Is this normal?

That would be a bug unless its an event which is changed with mymap/watk or any other mods you were using.

France and Austria must exist and burgundy must be at peace. And it must be between 1476 and 1484.
 
The mod we used was watk and the event present in watk is exactly the same i copy-pasted in my first post.

Sorry for the question but how can a map mod actually change the way the triggers are suposed to fire? Both the vanila-watk event for the burgundian inheritance are the same (apart from the fact that in watk the event includes extra provinces to be distributed to france/austria).
 
It can't. Either those trigger conditions are met or they are not.

The reason the new map might mess with an event is if there are province-specific trigger conditions, or issues like countrysize (which won't effect the trigger, but which needs to be comparatively translated to make equivalent sense).

Was someone playing Burgundy? And are you certain that this was the event that fired to create the annexation/inheritance?

No one playing Burgundy.

At the start of the game (on the loading screen), everyone also had red exclamation dots (!!!!!), which, is not normal. First i thought the host or someone else messed with the events, but then i tested the save game on LAN (alone together with a ghost of mine) and the same red exclamation dots apeared. Both EGO's as shown in the image bellow were running through the same executable so they were both using the same events.



And yes i am 100% sure that this was the event that fired to create the annexation of burgundy. I might also add to this post, that i have seen this hapening more then once on multiplayer mode. Why i do not know, since the event clearly states it will not trigger if Burgundy is at war.
 
Sounds like a bug, then. I've never seen that myself before.

No I didn't think that it would cause changes in how it triggered I was just asking about mods to check if you took the vanilla even out by mistake.

I don't know what mod you were playing I just thought I might as well ask since it was the only thing I could think of.

Well its watk 3.1 (not sure about the version), and the background image is not usual for watk, but that is because i changed it.

The events i didnt touch, and the event is as the first post of this thread states.
