Update #1

June 20

Hitler convening the staff to discuss the desperate situation. Heinz Guderian in his new position as head of the general staff has for a long time advocated a withdrawal from the Baltic states down to Eastern Prussia. In light of the Allied invasion of Normandy, Hitler very reluctantly signs an order that Army Group North is to conduct a general retreat.

Rommel who is currently stationed in France is made head of the German armies in western France pitted against the Allies.

Hitler also starts some economical reforms aimed to increase the industrial output of Germany. They involve a complete mobilisation of the industry.

The situation in Normandy and the armies opposing the allies.

Rommel immediately orders all units to counterattack and drive the Allies out into the sea while reinforcements rush from northern France. Rommels largest concerns were about the poor state of several of the divisions.

EDIT: For some reason my save crashes on load every time. Anyone know what might cause that?
