Im palying the GC as Russia, and when I click the up arrow to buy infantry, nothing happens. When I buy cavalry, Ia lso get infantry, but I cant buy only infantry. What gives?

Oh, thanks. Another question, I have stability pf +2 and when I declare war on Kazan, I go to -3. Why the huge drop?
Maybe you declared war on an enemy with which you have a peacetreatx (-5 stab), or royal wedding (-1), had no CB (-2),an alliance (-1) and the same religion (-1).
Both ways your loss in stability is listed after you sent a declaration of war and you are free to cancel it then with no loss.

What I do when I've declared war is divert all investments to stability, I can normally get my stability back to +3 within a year or 2 at max, but then it normally only drops to +1.
Anyone else who's played england. Do yorkskire and lancashire ever convert from catholic to protestant or reformed? They are the only 2 colonies in the british isles who constantly revolt and have refused to change religion. My tolerance for catholics is low, was hoping this might help their chances to convert.
Ireland is now reformed, as I sent colonists, since there populations were under 5000.
