Great screenie, Johan you are the best. :)

Are the buildings shown in the picture all buildable? (is that even a word?)

Eh... So, so cruel!

I was so happy when I saw the thread title, and then I saw the screenie load....

Don't tease us like this, Johan! I bet you're sitting at your computer right now laughing at us. :p ;)

Oh, and I already have a nitpick - Greek is the right culture for 1187, but in 1066 Armenian should probably be added as well - before the Turkish invasion and the subsequant loss of the Armenian lands, Amenians were fairly well represented in Byzantine civil service, the military, and even were Emperors from time to time. This is only relevant, of course, if you use the same method for determining country culture as you did in EU2.... ;)

"Coming of age" meaning that they are old enough so you can carry them into the church and perform the wedding... :)
Cheers,

A.Stop teasing us and just show us it!
B.Shouldn't it be East Roman Empire? I thought that Byzantine was a derogatory term used by the west to offend the east romans.

nice pic, here we go again for a long and warm discussion about the byzantium versus east Roman empire ;)

Why wouldn't you be able to do that? I'm not sure about the rest of Europe, but among the Byzantines (the area which I am studying now, as if the rest of you couldn't tell that... ;) ), it was not an unknown practice....

Funny, very funny. Still a good informative screenshot though.

Because this is a game, there are certain design decision made. One of them is not to model customs in all and any medieval society down to the smallest details... ;)

Remember: It's a game, not a simulator. :)
