Provided you are not a younger son who gained a title he did not inherit from his father, or a muslim ruler in a dynasty with very high decadence, the requirements for founding your own dynasty are:

* Your primary title does not have Tanistry/Elective/Elective Gavelkind OR you're independent OR your dynasty head is of a different realm
* There are at least 40 living members of your dynasty OR you are a legitimized bastard
* You are not the dynasty head, you are not married to any of his/her children, and none of your children are his/her close relatives
* Neither you nor your parents are close relatives of the dynasty head OR the dynasty head is not of your culture & not your parent

If all these things are true, you should be able to see the decision and thus the other requirements.

random based on culture ( so it works on the same basis that random generated charaters get ).

Meaning, generally, that non-Muslims will get a dynasty name that relates to their capital province (like "of Thomond") and Muslims will get a dynasty name that adds "-id" onto the founder's first name. Wish it was more complex than that, but that's all which can be done.

Yes, the AI does it. In fact, one of the main reasons it was implemented was to help erode the "super-family" issue a bit.

sorry but I don't understand what I need to create a cadet branch... Can you tell me all the steps and requirements better explained? thanks

The requirements are in the second post. What don't you understand?

That means there is a separate cadet system for younger sons who did not inherit a title from a close relative, but either got one from a distant relative or were granted one by their liege. That is, after all, what cadets were...younger members of the dynasty who were never really supposed to get a title.

The conditions I posted were for the alternate cadet system -- which is "I just want to create my own dynasty".

If someone from my house takes the cadet decision, will I be informed? Or do I need to comb through my dynasty tree looking for them?

My intent is to manually rename them.

Yes, everyone in the same dynasty will receive an event to notify them.
