In the past I use to get various Cadet Branch names... now the only ones it gives me are North, South, West and East?

Kind of lame considering the random employ courtier decision gives you cooler dynasty named characters.

Only certain Houses have cadet name options, the rest use those generic ones.

As far as I recall only the major houses get the option of unique cadet branch names. Targs, Starks, Martells, Arryns, Lannisters, Tullys, Baratheons, Tyrrells and Greyjoys.

What are the Stark options?

Whitewolf, Goldfang, Dreadwolf, and Winterhold.

With the DLC customiser and the 850 CoA you can simply changed the name and the sigil (lots of Stags, wolves, dragons, flowers, trees, birds, horses etc etc).

I always change Brandon Snow's dynasty when he inevitably marries Sharra Arryn (Aegons conquest start) and has children. White wolf on a sky blue background, House Arrstark. Because... I can't think of a better name.

The same can be done for Jon "West" just give him a new name, new sigil. Job done.

Oddly enough, the Cadet Dynasties I have gotten from Lannister bastards are the following:

Tarbeck
Jast
Kios
Farman
Myner
Elbrook

Judging by the look of the Stark ones, it seems like mine aren't related to a Lion.
