If I remember right from the developer diary, it was said that the party files would be modded so that there was a party of each ideology available once the ideology was activated.

However, there are no Conservatives in California, which means that the conservatives won't win the election, which means that in low-plurality Californias every conservative pop will turn reactionary, which means that you're more or less forced into a presidential dictatorship at the next election.

Personally, I'd suggest that the anarcho-liberal Democrats be made reactionary, and the Ursine Imperialists made conservative. And possibly have their names switched. Their policies seem more correct under those ideologies.

will report.

In the meantime, it can easily be modded by the player. Open the CAL_party.csv file in the parties folder of the db folder of Victoria with notepad, make the changes, and save. reload and should appear as you would prefer.
