Awesome! Do you know what we should do? We should all write a Multiplayer AAR. :D

We do. Every player writes their own AAR covering each session. If you expand hte multiplayer forum to show all threads in the last year you will see my campaign threads.

Wow! I actually never knew that. :) This is going to be so awesome. :D

i wouldnt suggest numidia personally id suggest a barbarian kingdom if you dont really want to be in the middle of it or one of the kingdoms around the black see like the roxi or bos.

up to you man but if you do play numidia im thinking you wont have much to do but sit and be scared of the day carthege gets bored :D least with a barbarian kingdom youve got some freedom to play with.

Version: 2.3 or 2.31c?

Which version are we using? The first post says 2.3, but there had been talk of 2.31c (YTZM) earlier, and I thought that was where we were headed. I'm at 2.31c now, but can switch to vanilla 2.3 if that is what we are going to use.

yes 2.31c, the beta patch that is listed on the forum. I changed the original post so noone else gets confused.

Can I be Numidia? I'm kind of a newb, and I deserve to be a vassal. If I can't I am willing to take Pontus or Epirus.

I am going to give you control of the Seleucid Empire. I realize your new, so giveing you either Pontus or Egypt could possibly unbalance the game right from the start. As the Seleucids you can make a few mistakes and still have a vast empire to rule over.

Pax25

Pax, Pontus and Egypt are left. I will let you choose which one to take. Obviously I would like Egypt but I will give you a chance to take it if you like. I think the last game we played I was Pontus...hmm. lol, let me know which one you want.

Monday

Monday our campaign begins. Hope everyone is ready and also shows up at the right time. Pax, you out there?

This monday I probably will not be able to make it, so don't wait for me. That's no problem as I didn't chose a country yet although I want to play a barbarian one. So play the game without restrictions, I'll chose a barbarian one after the turn.

2.31c CW foreign intervention resolution.

There is a specific way how the foreign intervention during a CW is resolved in 2.31c beta.

Once one of the CW factions territory is completely occupied by foreign powers the CW ends immediately. The occupied CW faction loses and the country is reunited. The occupied provinces are completely liberated unless the interventionist has been at war with both the CW factions at once.

It means its impossible to occupy one CW faction completely to get 100% warscore or to annex it. You need to remember to make peace with the respective CW faction prior it is completely overrun to secure any provincial or gold gains.

Yes, I am alive and well. Put me down as Pontus. I'll take one of the majors if someone fails to show.

No problem. Hey eveyone lets change our Avatars to match our country selection, I've already done this for mine as an example.

Patch Observations

I tested out the beta patch version of EU:Rome that we will be using and I discovered a couple of pleasant surprises.

First one I noticed was the 2 provinve minor annexation change. Tired of having to decalre war twice to annex a 2 province minor? Fret not my fellow warmongers, now you can do it all in one fell swoop. So Rome can annex magna greece right at the beginning, etc, etc.

The other one I noticed was the adjustment to your General/Admiral dice modifier. It use to be when you had a 9 or 10 martial leader the opposing commander would not have a chance, if they had a lower value. Now the gen/adm modifier has been nerfed so the other guy has a chance. Good news for the unfortunate lot that gets some crummy generals.

See you guys Monday.

Reporting in! 2 1/2 hours left until go time! See you all online!

glad to see rome getting some sorely needed MP love. It is only sad that you guys play on such a ungodly time, efficiently preventing me from doing any joining.

Best of luck to all of ya

Im out of work and ready with a half an hour to go! haha just wanted to check are we still going to be using the steam chat bc i have to add everybody if so

I don't have Steam Chat, so I won't be using it this session. Instead, I'll be using the in-game chat. If Steam proves to be a big hit, I'll switch over next week.
