I used to screenshot and cut images in GIMP. Aside from being slow, some images in the menu in-game now have filter icons that cover part of them.
Some time ago, I learned how to extract them from the game files using Unity Assets Bundle Extractor v2.2d. I have been able to locate most of the things I have needed, but not for the "Modern Japan", "Train Stations" and "Bridges & Piers" Content Creator Packs. (I found their DLC icons, but nothing else.)
I've looked in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data
Extracting from files such as:
sharedassets81.assets
(Which doesn't seem big enough to contain those asset images. I get 20k+ image files ("Texture2D").
I want the images like these:
This example being the Castle of Lord Chirpwick.
They appear in the in-game build menu for service buildings, monuments, unique buildings.
Example on wiki:
skylines.paradoxwikis.com
If someone knows where (or how) I could locate them for "Modern Japan", "Train Stations" and the "Bridges & Piers" CCPs, I would greatly appreciate it.
