Can i get some help please from a regular poster here?

I had purchased but never played HOI2..i am currently playing HOI3 and have recently begun playing the mods available and im having a blast.

Im exploring getting HOI2 and playing it if their are some mods im interested in. I notice alot of the posts are old and as im not a regular here i have no idea whats active or not. I do not want to spam your forum with a ton of posts...

I am interested in anything 1) pre WWII (1850's-1920's) or anything post WWII (1950's up). I am aware of the other games, what id like to know if there are any still functional mods covering the above two time frames (full World War type mods, not small scenarios and such).

If there are and if someone could link me id apreciate it alot. Thanks guys...have fun gaming!

You may want to checkout the Darkest Hour Forum. The game has separate WW1 and WW2 Campaigns, although you can't play from WW1 through to WW2. DH already has mods for it, and I think the Cold War mod is one of them. If you want to stick to HOI2, you may want to check out the 1914 mod and the Cold War mod, but I don't know how much support you will get for them as most of the modders have moved onto DH.
