I've always been at least somewhat unsatisfied with every map font mod I tried so I created my own one based on some EUIV font mod I downloaded a long time ago.
I've added glow, drop shadow, etc. and I'm super happy with the result because my goal was to make a high contrast font that is equally well readable over dark or bright backgrounds (looking at you HRE).
Now to make it the map font to end all map fonts and make me happy for all eternity I want to increase the resolution. Take a look at the big fonts (for example the "A" in France) and it just has a really poor resolution.
Is there a way to increase font resolution? For now, I'm aiming at simply doubling it and hoping the result will be good enough.
