Can not install or uninstall the F.....G EU

When I install the first time the compaq armada 1750 froze so I had to restart the second atempt to install succes but I cut not start the game becuse some dll was missing deside to unistall and install it again. It start to uninstal but never did it so know I cant install or uninstall the f... game any idea how I get the stupid program to understand it has unsinstall so it is no need to ask me everytime I try to intall it if I want to remove it. Some pointer is pointing in a very wrong direction how will I get out of this mess
 
A better explanation well at least a try to write better English. I have the Swedish version of EU. I tried to install the program yesterday evening with a disappointing result. The first attempt failed when the computer froze when the installation reach 12% completion. I had to restart the computer (Compaq Armada 1750). The second attempt to install EU was almost okay. But the Direct(x) put itself into a loop where it ask me to conform the restart of the computer to have the installation into effect, the window pop up over and over again so even this time I had to restart the computer. When I had restarted the computer the second time with an installed EU I tried to start the game but get an error notification that a dll was missing. I decide to uninstall EU so I cud install it again this time in two step first EU and after that direct(x). I used Windows 95:s function for uninstalling got the message it had succeeded. Tried to install the EU again and get a question, if I want to uninstall the game I choose ok and the removing started after it had finished get a message that told me it had succeeded. Then I tried to install it again and the same message pop and I was asked if I want to uninstall the game. Then quit upset I posted the previous post. I had tried to fix the register with regclean.exe I had been manually into to register to remove all trace of EU. I had removed all files that I can find on my hard disk that belong to EU. I also have removed all installshield directories. I was using the Explorers find function to identify all files that was changed during the 24 hours, but I cant find where the installation program get its instruction to uninstall EU. Anyone that can give me any hints I think this is a serious discrepancy that need attention from someone in the development theme.
 
Dont know never noted the name of the missing dll. I decided then it was easier to reinstall than troubleshout with the dll:s. What I need help with is to identify how I get EU to understand, it is uninstalled. I want to install it again.

There are a win95 folder on the cd that probably contain the dll I need if I can get the installtion prg to start work correct again.

thanks for the hint I will notice it if I ever get the F.....g game to work.
 
Winsok2 is installed, I think the problem has to do with the installshield. Becuse the install prg find somewhere on my PC an instruction to remove EU when I running the setup.exe ie installshield. Anyone that know which company that supply the installshield mickisoft?? maybe can I find some hints on theirs site.
 
The installshield probably check the status of the table Windows Installer properties anyone that know where I can find it on my computer and more important how can I change it. I found this informationon on www.installshield.com I would appreciate if paradox can ask theirs support (I suppose you have a support agreement with them) I cant use theirs support as a end user. find pieces of information in theirs knowledge databas but not enough to solve my problem.

*pop up window appear asking if I want to uninstall EU latetly the EU screen appear With the chooses play, unistall.. Play is not possible when no file directory exists an unistall go to the next step
* Action in the screen as the program is removed (very short probarbly nothing happend)

-- I guess that some where in window probably in the table I write about in an earlier post it is a setting that inform installshield that I want to remove ÉU. I am currently on an other computer just to reach the net and check my email and see if I got any hint. I will continue the troubleshouting tomorrow on the computer I have the problem on.
 
I have fixed the problem!
deleted the entry {A6F1BDF7-53A7-4AF6-84B9-0C51C722BC91} from the registry. Went into RUN/REGEDIT and searched for all entries that contained the word europa until I find it.
I had now installed the EU and can play the game so far without any problems.
