Yeah. I mean, I save the game and then I have to add Venice again in the list of playable countries, right? I do it, I load the game and I still can't grab...
In the list of playable games, I add something like:
VENI = {
gender = male
type = kingdom
dna = "05228526311990"
title = { VENI C356 C458 C465 C467 }
}
The only change I do beside these is the age of the ruler. I don't change anything else...
Am I doing something wrong?

Try going to the bottom of the save game and searching for the VENI tag. If it lists government = republic or some such that might be effecting your game. Change the government type to feudal and you should be okey
Ah, you are playing as a republic (kingdom in this case just means a republic at king-level)
Republics can't grab titles or grant titles or create titles.
