Cannot change game speed

Hi guys

I am hosting a series of games and once the game is in play I can't change the game speed at all. When I try through the options menu the speeds are all greyed out and I cant select them, even when the game is paused by the host. Also I have tried the CTRL +/- and ALT +/- shortcuts and they dont work either.

Can anyone help me out here?

Speed can be changed by the host. Since I've never hosted (well, once a long time ago ) I don't know how.

As I understand, you change the speed as normal, but I wouldn't know as I have the same issues (though I have only hosted casual games).

It's impossible during a session at least, I would think. (Not like I know anything though )

ctrl + /ctrl - doesn't work on a laptop iirc

Well I've played games with other hosts who have been able to do it, in fact I'm the only person I know of who cant. I am on a normal PC not a laptop.

its a funny thiong, you ARE able to you if you host to change speed with ctrl +/- .
