Cannot Get Console Commands

Hi there,

Even when I use the -debug_mode command in the launch commands on steam, I cannot pull up any console when I start the game. if I try and add the same command to the command line of the game's shortcut, it simply says game will not launch when I hit Play on the launcher. Can anyone tell me why this console command will not work?

In addition to debug_mode, you need to set interface scaling 1, disable all mods, restart the game and then the console will appear.

Another question/ How do I get the console to appear on the GOG version of the game? When I put in the -debug_mode command the launcher simply refuses to launch the game. Is this another known bug for this version of the game?

One of the devs just tried this with his GoG installation and it had no problem worked fine for him.

Hard to understand why you have that problem!

Well, maybe it's very simple. Am I doing it wrong? I put the -debug_mode command in the Target field of the game's GOG shortcut's Properties tab. Is that teh correct placement? The only instructions for this are for Steam, not GOG. Also, would be ghreat if you guys just added an option for this to the launcher like you did for Planetfall!
