Cannot load Ironman save games

For some reason I can't open Ironman save games. When I try to load save games, I can load every game except Ironman games. The saves are there on my computer, however. It doesn't matter whether they are saved locally or in the cloud: both options do not load Ironman save games.

Interestingly, the Ironman saves are listed when saving a new Ironman game. So the game does clearly recognize they are there, but does not list the Ironman saves when trying to load savegames.

Additionally, I noticed lately that accessing the saved games tab in the Single Player menu is not possible. I can choose all the historical starts, but the save game tab doesn't work. Loading save games therefore requires me to start a new game, and then load save games by opening the menu.

In any case, the first issue is the more pressing. I hope this can be fixed!

Ironman saves are excluded from the ingame load dialog. You can only load them from the list of saved games in the single player menu. If that button doesn't work for you, it is likely due to an outdated mod(the layout of the list was changed in version 1.35 and all mods which didn't adapt for that change break the list). But it might also be a corrupted game installation. Try to disable all mods(if you think that you have no mods, look in the playset section of the launcher to make sure, because they might have been installed and activated without your knowledge) and if that doesn't help, you can try to verify the integrity of game files and if that doesn't help, you can try a clean reinstall as described in my guide on reddit about common startup problems with version 1.29

Grotaclas, thanks so much for your insightful reply. An updated seems to have been the problem, though the list layout seems to have been updated in 1.36 so I can play my Ironman saves again with all my mods on.
