Hello,

Can someone help with this issue...I bought cities skylines for ps4 last spring and since then have made several cities. Recently, I noticed my old saves on my older cities went missing from the loading screen. Puzzled, I went to see if they were deleted, but they weren’t. Next, I noticed that the save cap is at 10 save files and the auto save. So my old cities are still on my system, but I cannot access them without deleting my newer cities which I don’t want to do.

Is this a glitch on ps4/consoles? How can load my old saves? If this is an issue, when will there be a patch?

So, what you're saying is that you've saved newer cities on top of your older ones and now they are taking up all the save slots? That's not a glitch. When saving onto an occupied save slot you're essentially deleting the save that's in that slot and replacing it with a new one. If you did this there is no way to get your old cities back.

No. What I’m saying is I save a new city into a new save slot. What I’m seeing is once I get to 10 saves (different save slot for each city), I cannot save anymore without any of the older save slot disappearing. Looking into my save files, they are still on the HDD, but not accessible when I’m in-game trying to load old saved cities.

I’m wondering is there a cap at 10 save slots? And if so, why? They don’t take up too much storage space so it doesn’t make sense not to have more.

There is a reason for this
It’s because it’s how many cities the game allow.
It happened to me and I have never seen it since
Save cities over ones you don’t need or upload the files or something so they are there forever(psn needed)

Yeah I had a feeling that was the reason. Not sure why you can’t just keeping add more, but yeah I’ll just save them to ps plus and overwrite. Thanks for the help.
