So I have started three different new games with the newest version checksum GATP, so everything looks right. But I cannot load any save games without the mod/game crashing.

Maybe it's an error concerning the files itself? Sometimes Compression errors are the problem. Do you consciously compress your files when you save? (Check off that little button in the corner of the window when saving.)
having the same issue as well, wouldn't let me play save files... I was really looking forward to playing this, this issue has never happened to me till now

I assumed that that was a slip on the keyboard, because in that thread everyone had GATP. Whats your checksum?
