Cannot load saved games

Hi there,

I have a small issue for a game which requires some time to complete a playthrough : I cannot load saved games.

Saved games (quick, manual or automatic) are correctly generated in my documents folder but they appear neither in the load nor save screen.
I tried to use both 1.1.02 and 1.1.05 versions of the game and got the same behavior.

Does anyone has an idea of what I should do ?

Do you play the Main or the Prologue campaign?

Do you have the game from Steam or somewhere else?

So you say your savegames are appearing among your documents. Are they there even after launching the game?

I'm playing the main campaign.

I bought the game from amazon.

Savegames are in the documents folder all time. Moreover I just noticed that I can quicksave using F5 and quickload with F9 works.

That's really strange.

Does the Amazon version require Steam activation?

Or did you patch the game by yourself?

The amazon version does not require a Steam activation. I found patches on the Internet, but saved games did not appear in the save/load screens when I used the 1.1.02 version that I downloaded from amazon.

OK, let's test it a bit.

Start the game, load a quick save or start new campaign, does not matter which you do.

Save the game normally: Menu / Save

If you open the Menu again and choose Load: what do you see?

Also a screenshot of your save files folder would be nice (from the file browser) or if you can let me know the direct path to your .inf, .jpg and .sav files, that's equally good.

When I open the save load menu I always see them empty.

Save files are stored in this path : \\NAS\Documents\Documents Chicken\NeocoreGames\King Arthur II\SaveGame\-1909072927.

Maybe there is a problem with my personal folder being stored over the network.

Actually the path should be \Documents\NeocoreGames\King Arthur II\SaveGame\-1909072927

The \Documents Chicken shouldn't be in there. Did you move the folder manually? What happens if you copy the NeocoreGames Folder back to the /Documents folder? Does it fix it?

Well copying back my windows personal folder from the NAS to the local drive fixes the problem. But this way my personal folder is no longer stored where it should be.

Other games I play have no problem with a personal folder stored elsewhere than the default location.
