I bought EU4 in Epic Games, but when I try to play it online it doesn't work. It says that I am not connected to the Paradox Account, but every time I try to do it it says that cannot connect and asks to check the internet connection. The Epic Games is logged and in the launcher my Paradox Account is also logged in, but in the game itself it is not. I have given exceptions in the firewall to both "eu4.exe" and "dowser.exe" but the issue remains.

After trying different passwords (that weren't right), I've noticed a pattern: every time I submited a wrong password the game would tell me in about 5/10 sec. that there was no connection; when I wrote the right password the game takes 30 sec., given or taken, to say it can't connect. I find this rather odd, since there would be no difference in time response, because it would not be possible to check the validity of the password.

I can see you haven't linked your Epic and Paradox account, please do so here:

FYI the Paradox Launcher is actually C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2021.10.1/paradox launcher.exe

Even after the linking of the accounts and the exception given to the launcher it does not work.

In fact, it keeps thinking when I insert the correct password for a long time, something that doesn't happen when I disconnect my PC to the internet or when I introduce a wrong password...I'm starting to wonder if this multiplayer "walll" is intentional.

We intentionally are preventing you alone from play MP, you are saying? Not sure why we'd do that, but no.

Do you have access to any other machine, on the same network or elsewhere, to do a test install and try this? This is to see if the issue is this machine, this network, or something external like your account.
