Cannot research Turbojet CAG

hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me here. I have so called gain a theoritical breakthrough Secret weapon allowing Tech Turbojet Carrier Air Wing after completed research of the Semi-Modern Carrier and I have the other pre-req which is Turbojet Engine tech.

But for some reason, I am not allowed to reseach it after the option opened up. See below. Why?? Turbo C A W is still grayed. Normally researchable tech is in blue.

Anyone knows why?

You need to research the last carrier tech too (modern carrier) before you can research the turbojet CAW.

Weird, the pre-req was stated as semi-modern carrier, not modern carrrier. Anyway, I'll research it and hope it allows after that. Thx!

Since you got all the pre-req. for it you need to wait untill an event fires that lets you research this. IIRC that event can proc ever month but I'm not sure.

Yeah, the game stated wrong, you need Modern CV. I ran into the same thing.
