I don't understand how you could have the GG version yet it takes you to a Steam store. Who did you actually buy and download the game from?

I am experiencing this problem as well. My hard drive failed last week so I had to reinstall it today. I redownloaded ( and brought) the game from gamersgate and patched it but my ingame store is greyed out and clicking the ruler dlc banner brought me to the steam store.

This happened to me too today, for an unrelated reason I had to delete and reinstall some things, including CK2, so I redownloaded it from Gamersgate, when installed the Ingame Store icon is greyed out, and the new content link for the ruler designer takes me to Steam rather than Gamersgate. What to do? Reinstall CK2?

Glad to see I am not the only one. Just got a new laptop, and installed CK2 as well as the new patch. Before and after the patch, the in-game store button is greyed out and the Ruler Designer DLC banner takes me to Steam.

I am having the same problem. I purchased from GamersGate but the ingame store button is greyed out... i cannot get my DLC, and if i click the ruler designer, it takes me to the steam page. I should mention i needed to redownload the game about 20 minutes ago, fresh install new computer.

I have reported this backstage, but I still suggest people contact GG support as I'm now not sure who would eb best placed to tackle this - no harm in both sides working at it!

I'm told "it's being addressed right now" - whether that means in 1.05g or not I'm not 100% sure yet. Apparently if you get ggstore.dat from 1.05d or earlier that should fix it ... does that make sense?

OK, I'm now told that applying 1.05g will fix this problem.
