Cant connect to a game, neither can my friend. What do we do. We get to valkyria net etc. But we only get msg that the server either does not have a game or is unable to connect

You probably don't have the correct ports opened/forwarded.

I have a router that i cant change i think.. or rather i do not have any programs for it, fairly certain. And firewall i do not know how. i have mcaffee.

Try to find your router here:
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
Then follow the instructions for 'directX7' on how you configure your router for DirectX 7 games like EU2.
Also, make sure your firewall has the necessary ports open too.
Ah screw it, i cant find anywhere in my firewall settings about opening up ports so i am screwed Bhah and i who bought this game to my cousin so i could play the game (have had it for years but never had anyone i wanted to play online with)
