cant download IGC !!

Evertime i try to download it it says "canot create output file for..somthing to do with provinces" ive downloaded 1.08 is there anything else i need to download???

You may need to make some changes to certain read only files.

I also had problems extracting the files correctly. Eventually I unzipped them, and cut and paste them manually, and it worked fine.

im new with my computer and would realy like it if you could give some{gulp} step by step instructions. i am really eager to play it and i have cable so D/L is easy

If the patch won't unzip and load itself when you click on it, do this: Create a New Folder on your desktop and unzip the patch into that folder. That will put all the ICG files in your New Folder. Then just cut and paste them into your EU directory. Click "yes" when you are asked if you want to overwrite the existing files. Then follow the directions in the readme to get things up and running.

I also can't get it to work! I downloaded the java fix from microsoft (though Norton told me it had a virus which I quarantined so it may not have all installed properly). Still nothing. All the patch does is create a 0kb text file with no text. The problem may be the way downloads happen on this computer. I don't think anything was actually zipped. When I check properties on the config and the patch it lists them as "deflated" which I am guessing is the same as unzipped?
