I have a friend who I want to play MP with but they can never find a channel in VN. When they go into Valkyrienet, it attempts to find the channels but then says :-
Try 1
Try 2
Try 3...
Etc etc. It never finds a channel and eventually after multiple tries it drops his connection. He therefore never gets the list of channels EU-1, EU-2, HoI etc and can't get into the little chat room place where you join games.
There was nothing wrong with VN at the time as I was in the room waiting. He DOES NOT have any type of firewall installed, (unless one came free with his computer which he doesn't know about). He tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and the same thing happened. His internet service provider is the same as mine and he has the same type of account and mine connects first time nearly all the time.
I have searched here in the forums, but the only thing seems to relate to firewalls and we are fairly sure that is not the problem.
We are at a loss as to what to try next, any suggestions?
