b.. Operating system (Win9x, WinMe, Win2000, etc.) and build.
Windows 98
c.. Computer Make, Model, CPU & speed
Cpu is intel Pentium 2 533MHz- computer is a conglomeration
d.. Memory (RAM - the more you have, the better off you will be!)
447 Mb ram
e.. Free disk space on the hard drive where the game is installed
4 Gb
f.. Video Card brand, model number, current driver version and video memory
Uncertain- NABTS/NEC VBI CODEC according to system properties video controller - this does not sound right though as I bought a video card to run icewind dale in the last year or so and the name does not sound right- had 8Mb on the box
g.. Sound Card brand, model number and current driver version
Creative soundblaster audiopci 128
h.. DirectX Version Installed
The one off the EU2 CD definitely- though I am suspect other more recent versions may have been loaded- I am not certain and am unsure how to check

I have been using EU2 on my system without problem for what seems like years
It will no longer load. I have not patched it or loaded any software since the game last worked.
I click on shortcut on screen or in start menu and nothing happens (yes I have the disc in the drive)- I place CD in drive and close to use auto > run function- the front screen comes up but when I click on Play nothing > happens except screen vanishes
I have reloaded eu2 from auto run front screen- and install announces it has worked- I rerun 1.05 update patch- thank god I kept it- and then tried to load the game- same result as before. It will not play
All other games I play regularly still work
I am stumped for choices/options
