Have you made them with text editor?? otherwise they will not work

Well, they DO work when you make them in Excel... Just save tham as .csv (option in Excel) and make sure you click YES when it asks to keep format.

I made them using wordpad, after the DESC fiasco :))) And I gave them tags beginning with 91001, called the file ministers_u00 and it just doesn't work, they still show up as 'none'.

As a sidenote, I noticed that the Croatian ministers file is called 'minister_cro' (with no plurilisation of minister).

Has anyone gotten User Defined country ministers to work?

Cheers,

Dr. Charm

I did, I gave them ids from 90000 :p but made them based in german ministers and with wordpad.

Maybe you should post the list here if it still doesn't work.

Thanks to both of you. I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong. Did you have to make a call to the minister's list? Or was simply having the tag u00 and the list called ministers_u00 sufficient?

I'll fiddle a bit when I get home, and if I still can't get it to work, I'll throw it up here this evening.

Cheers,

Dr. Charm

I just created a new file ministers_u00.csv:
U00;Ruling Cabinet - Start;Name;Pool;Ideology;Personality;Loyalty;Picturename;x
98001;Head of State;Bob II;NA;RS LC CE;NA;NA;unknown;x
98002;Head of Government;Billy Bob Roberts;NA;RS;NA;NA;unknown;x
98003;Foreign Minister;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98004;Minister of Armament;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98005;Minister of Security;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98006;Head of Military Intelligence;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98007;Chief of Staff;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98008;Chief of Army;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98009;Chief of Navy;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
98010;Chief of Air Force;John Doe;NA;PA;Undistinguished Suit;Medium;unknown;x
;Replacements;;;;;;;x

Worked like a charm (as you can see above) :) - (Edit: No pun intended :D)

A Head of State can have a list of possible ideologies their Government can have. In this case 'RS LC CE' means that king Bob II will tolerate Reformed Socialist, Liberal-Conservative and Centrist governments. This means that e.g. a Left-Wing Radical minister can't be appointed.
