cant install Rome Gold

just got game at store (not a download) and it seemed to load everything, but when I try to launch rhe game, I get an error message. It says the application configuration is incorrect. I have only very basic computer skills, so please keep in mind with any solutions. Thanks for help. Below I have pasted the details of the error message.
