Can't install

I just got Hearts of Iron 2 and whenever I try to install the game by clicking "Install", the game freezes and the computer starts making noises. I am 110% sure that my PC is compatible with the game and it exceeds all requirments. I DO NOT get any ie: "could not install" message, just a frozen noisy computer. It's the strangest thing, I've never had any game problems with the computer I'm using. Any help would be apprieciated, Thanks.

I have had this sometimes myself, not with Pdox games but others.

Just let it sit there, say for 20 mins, if nothing happens then post back here.
