i recently bought cities skylines, but i cant play since when i try to launch it nothing happens. i tried fixing the issue using other people's solutions but nothing worked. im running macos 15.1.1.

ive also tried reinstalling the game, but it didnt fix the issue

i tried launching the game using terminal and i got this:
Player data archive not found at `/Volumes/Expansion/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Cities_Skylines/Cities.app/Contents/Resources/Data/data.unity3d`, using local filesystem

i also got this after:

nevermind, i managed to fix it by doing this:
i opened terminal, and using terminal i went to the game location, i opened the game files, went to /Contents/Launcher/dowser and i wrote following commands:
xattr -c launcher-installer-macos-2024.9
chmod +x launcher-installer-macos-2024.9

after this the paradox launcher installed normally
