I own the game through Xbox. I can’t get the game to start. Launcher starts but keeps buffering while saying “syncing files”. It worked before. Did a reinstall of windows because of other issues. Have Macafee on the PC now. My guess it’s the issue. I’ve tried deactivate virus search as well as firewall. Don’t work. Any other suggestions?? I’ve already bought a sub for macafee…

Try deleting everything in your Documents/Paradox Interactive/EU4 Gamepass/ folder (EXCEPT any values save file sof course!).

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/EU4/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/EU4/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log .
