The good news is that some people managed to get it working after the Sunset Harbor update.

However though there are some people like me who's having trouble getting this mod to work.

When I enabled the mod, I got this error in the menu and it didn't work in-game:

All I remember is that I currently have some intersection assets as well as Network Connections 2 assets in. I have enabled mods such as 81 tiles, Ad Cloud Enabler, UltimateMod, Extended Game Options, Find it, Prefab hook, mini FPS booster, more advanced toolbar, all anarchy mods, Loading Screen mod, Less Steam Load, Instant Return to Desktop, Network Connections 2, No Pillars, Precision Engineering, Sharp Textures, Speed Slider, Ultimate Level of Detail, Unlimited Money, Unlimited Soils, Unlock All Roads, Not so unique buildings, and Remove need of pipes/power lines.

I also tried the Mod Compatibility Checker but it didn't help much.

Am I still missing something or the mod has a bug?
 
I think I know why this may never work for me, unless I own CS on Steam. The mod does not work on pirated copies of Cities Skylines due to the mod wanting a very specific location of a file to load the mod in order to work where it relies on the Steam Workshop.
