Can't Load saved game...receive a critical error message.

HOI2 DD patch 1.2, the store bought version.

I downloaded the 1.2 patch for DD and began an Italian game. Eventually I got into a war with Germany. I saved the game and tried to come back but none of the saved games, including autosaves would open. I uninstalled DD, reinstalled, and then activated the 1.2 patch over the clean install. I start a SU game and the same problem developed after I got into a war with Germany. None of the saved would open and I received the follow error message:

Critical Error!

---Error: (unknown government position in scenario file (minister)) 'position =tag' Line = 352989 file = scenarios\save games\ Worker's Paradise.eug ---

It asked me if I wanted to abort, ignore, or retry. Clicking abort just gives me a runtime error and a crash back to the desktop.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with the new patch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use the editor or any mods or edit any files?

Me not smart 'nuff to edit files. Nixon no edit nuthin'.

That and I'm too lazy.

Just a clean DD install with 1.2 patch.

If you start a new game, let the time pass for two months, save the game, exit the program, start the program can you load the game?
