Can't merge fleets! Reinforcement creates 1 ship fleets.

I built new frigates with proton launchers (artillery) and added 2 to my fleet in fleet manager. I built them but they don't get added and always create a new 1 ship fleet.

I can merge these ships but when I try to merge with my main fleet I'll they just stop and don't do anything.

Tried removing them from fleet template to merge and add them again but it doesn't work.i reloaded the game but still the same. The torpedo frigates work fine but the ones with artillery computer won't merge.

3. What DLC do you have installed?
All of them, including C6 portrait

4. When did this start happening?
After creating 2nd frigates design with artillery instead of torpedo computer.

5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how
Not sure. It's not working in my ironman game. Built new reinforcement ships multiple times while fleet was out of combat (I'm in a war).

6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
Only have my ironman save do far.

7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?

The created 1 ship fleets can be merged but I can't add them to the big fleet.

I think I found the reson for it. Somehow the FTL drive was not using the latest drives. The jump drives from start were equipped so they couldn't fly to merge.
