Can't Play at higher than 800X600

As for the computer, after cold reboots, warm reboots, anything else it is fine, it works fine for any other thing at any other resolution. I have the monitor set for 1024X758 normally and I can watch movies, DVDs and play other games at any resolution I want to. It just seems to be HOI that is causing me trouble.
When I refer to not being able to go beyond 800X600 I am referring to for HOI only, as I said evrything else works fine.

Thanks for all your help. I haved tried everything I can think of, I will try that BIOS idea.

Another thing to try is renaming the AVI folder to AVIBack, this will tell us if it is a Blink player conflict. You will skip the intro movies but should be able to play the game.

It is the Blink player, It is known to cause some problems.
