So, I just recently started trying to get back into playing Crusader Kings 2, and I wanted to play with some mods, but upon selecting any I get an error when I try starting the game from the launcher.

"File Exception: Exception in:
D:\jenkins\workspace\CK2-Live-R-Steam-Windows\Clausewitzll\pdx_core\virtualfilesystem.cpp, line: 713. Description: Could not open file: localisation/00_ACR_override.csv, error: The system cannot find the file specified."

That's the error I get. I have no idea what this is referencing, as I don't have a D:\ drive anywhere on my computer. Starting the game normally, with no mods is fine, but upon trying to start with ANY mods, I get this error. Is there any way to fix this?

BTW, I've already tried to re-download a clean install of CK2, and I still get the error.

The game has just had a major update, so it's likely the mods you are trying have not been updated to run with the new game version.

Please contact those mod authors t check.

According to Loup, of the WTWSMS mod, the issue stems from a bug that's surfaced (again) inside the steam workshop. It's causing an error for people using workshop mods. It seems to be localized in CK2 for now though.

Basically, the issue does not stem from the mod itself since it is compatible and the non-workshop versions work. Somewhere in the mod Workshop upload process something went wrong, and I have been trying to resolve it. However, @AndrewT is right in explaining it is a modding-related issue, not a tech support question of the base game.
