Hey there, Potato here.
Could you and your friend please do a full reinstall of the game, meaning uninstalling the game, and deleting the CK3 folder that you can find in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\" (in case you have any save files you want to keep, you can just rename the Crusader Kings III folder to something else), reinstall the game and then try once again without any mods enabled on a completely new save game. In case that doesn't alleviate the problem, please reach out again!

Please do, additionally, I will also need the Crash logs from your friend. They can be found in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes". Make a Zip out of the latest crash that you had and send it here together with the save.
Could you also give me the following information:
* What platforms are you and your friend playing on?
* What DLCs do you have active?
* Could you give me a detailed explanation of what exactly you and your friend were doing just as it crashed. Anything from just hovering over a county to clicking a corner of the screen.

What you could do is get your friend to zip up the "logs" folder that is found in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\" from directly after a crash and then send it here, as well as getting them to run the DXDiag program, pressing the "Save All Information" button and then attaching that file (should be named DXDiag)
Can your friend play in Singleplayer without these issues, or do they crash after 8 minutes there as well?
