Can't play multiplayer

When I click Valkyrienet in the multiplayer select menu, it says "Failed to connect to mainserver. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" even though I am connected. I have version 1.05 and a 56K modem. Is there something else required that I have missed?

I don't think so but I'm going to move this over to the MP forum where there are people who are better aquainted with the ins and outs of vNet. It's possible that vNet is down (crashed) at the moment... If so, then it will likely remain down until Monday morning (Sweden time) when the Paradox staff come in and can reset it.

Yep, it is because vnet is down.
