Cant Reinstall

I had problems with loading games as many other people have and i decided to uninstall all files affiliated with hearts of iron mods everyrthing, no i try to install the game again and its just spins around in the cd tray and freezes my damed computer and i have tryed it on both my dvd and cd, both drives, and its not working. I havent scratched the cd maybe its had been exposed to some type of radiation but its the only game not installing any more. Help please i love this game its one of a kind

Notice that #1 is a hot link to another thread that gives instructions on how to uninstall HOI fully.

I have done everything and i have found The install shield infomation directory but i cant find the file name that is mentioned in that link, i have a couple is it ok if i just delete all of em

NO!

You do not want to delete them all, since they contain unistall info for other programs.

Check each folder and open the file called "Setup Configuration settings"

This file will open in word pad and you should see a line that says:
AppName = "name of program"
This will tell you which program that directory contains info on.
Find the one(s) that are for HOI and delete those folders.
