I use arch linux.
I played for around 20h than game frozen my pc and i had to do hard reset. After this Victoria 3 no longer launch from steam. When i press "play" nothing happens. I can still run it from game files using wine, but than i can't access DLCs.
What makes it even more confusing is that it randomly runned yesterday evening, but today it doesnt work again.

Can you start the game from ./victoria3 run directly in a terminal command line? If so your issue is probably a launcher or Steam one.

If you installed Steam via the flatpack, you need to use the proper Steam client from here instead:
"Install Steam Now"

I don't get what you mean by running from ./victoria3
I have right steam client
It's also worth mentioning that i verified files integrity and fully reinstalled game few times and that didn't fix anything. Issue doesn't occur with any other game just victoria 3.

@JelonOrk_ Hi! Were you trying to launch the game on the 1.5 open beta branch?
If so, could you try:
1. disabling all DLC in the launcher
2. starting the game through the launcher (without any DLC)
3. quitting, starting the launcher again and enabling all DLCs again?

We have a Linux-specific, 1.5-specific issue in the database that has this workaround attached.

1st time i got this issue i played without beta. Than after it fixed itself and started working again for some reason 2 days ago i tried installing beta day after it and it stopped wroking again.
I got desperate and reinstalled steam which fixed it but i have to reinstall all games.

Open up a terminal command line session.
In that session navigate to the Steam folder where Vic3 is installed.
Run that command just as I laid it out for you.

Does it work?
